Sculptures 2011

Though this work has been completed in the last couple of months, the process began up to five years ago in some instances when certain objects were collected. Each sculpture is formed by the combination of found industrial and natural objects. The single elements have a history of their own and original purpose but have been discarded, found and placed together. They have been reused, upcycled and reborn from all infinite chance possibilities to become these sculptures where the whole is much greater than the individual parts. In a sense this work exists as more than just a practice of formal artistic creation but also as a mimicry of the natural state and flux of the world.
